2015B was an ABC timeline. It was a version of 2015 where Marty McFly took his son's place to prevent his involvement in a robbery with Griff Tannen and his gang.
On October 21, Dr. Emmett Brown, Marty McFly and Jennifer Parker arrived in 2015 to save Marty McFly, Jr. from being set up for the robbery of the Hill Valley Payroll Substation by Griff Tannen. Marty posed as Marty Jr. and managed to change future history for the better by causing Griff and his gang to crash into the Hill County Courthouse on their hoverboards, resulting in their being arrested.
That night, the 47-year-old Marty, dared by Douglas J. Needles, illegally allowed his CusCo credit card to be scanned by Needles as part of an illegal transaction that would apparently make more money, and subsequently got fired from his job at CusCo by his boss, Mr. Fujitsu, who had been monitoring the scan.
Simultaneously, Biff Tannen stole the DeLorean time machine and headed back to 1955 with a sports almanac that detailed fifty years of sports statistics, then returned the DeLorean without either Doc or Marty noticing.
The October 22 issue of USA Today was overwritten from the events of 2015A with the news that Griff and his gang were sentenced and sent to jail for wrecking the Courthouse Mall.
