- Date unknown: Doc Brown arrived from 1991 in a timeline where humans never evolved, shortly before the time bubble protecting him from the changes popped. Doc restored the meteor, which ensured that humans would evolve and his family would be safe.
Behind the scenes
- In real life, this year was part of the Piacenzian period. The extinction of all non-avian dinosaurs occurred much earlier, at some point around 65500000 B.C. The Browns also used lemons to power their car battery, although lemons weren't introduced to the Americas until 1493.
- Biff Tannen previously arrived at an unknown time when dinosaurs populated the Earth in Jurassic Biff. He killed a baby velociraptor to power the Mr. Fusion on the DeLorean time machine that he stole from Marty and Doc Brown in 2015. It's possible this caused a butterfly effect that contaminated the past and changed the course of history.
