Counterfeiting is the act in which a person, party, or organization imitates something authentic with the intent to steal, destroy, or replace the original. One of most common types of this is counterfeiting money.
In 1992, Jules Brown engineered a new plant type which he called a 'Money Tree'. Its leaves were exact duplicates of real dollar bills, which allowed the Brown family to become rich very quickly. This caught the attention of the FBI, who began investigating the Brown family for running a counterfeiting operation.
