Dr. Brown's is a soda brand that was first introduced with a celery tonic in New York in 1869.
In 1927, the gangster Arnie "Eggs" Benedict mistakes Doc Brown for Dr. Brown. Doc tells him that he doesn't brew celery tonic anymore, and now brews hooch.
