Dwight D. Eisenhower (October 14, 1890 - March 28, 1969) was the 34th President of the United States. He was elected president in 1952 and was succeeded by John F. Kennedy in 1960.
Biography[]
Peggy Ann McVey, a student in Martha Peabody's class, had taken notes from the television news about the heart attack President Eisenhower had suffered on September 24, 1955 and turned in a complete report for which she received an A.
Marty McFly picked the November 5, 1955 issue of the Hill Valley Telegraph out of a trash can in Courthouse Square after a passer-by dropped it in, and was surprised to read the date at the top of the paper. The main headline of the front page was Eisenhower Vetoes Senate Bill, with a picture of Eisenhower underneath.
