E. Casanova Evans is a professional Michael Jackson tribute artist/actor.
Biography[]
Evans played the Michael Jackson video simulacrum at the Cafe 80s in Back to the Future Part II.
He has also appeared in the comedy/reality TV show Punk'd (2003-15) and the sitcom Blossom (1990-95).
Behind the scenes[]
- In commentary to the DVD of Part II, Bob Gale noted that "Michael Jackson was a big fan of the first Back to the Future, so he was very co-operative and generous in letting us use his... re-create his likeness and use his music in this." He added that "The guy that played Michael Jackson [referring to E'Casanova] was not even a teen when he was cast to portray Michael but due to the amazing foam latex character makeup used to transform him into the "Max Headroom" styled Jackson, it didn't matter. He was a joy to work with and his natural resemblance to Jackson without the makeup was uncanny.
- He performed as Michael Jackson at the Weโre Going Back fan celebration of the Back to the Future trilogy in 2015.
