Ernest "Ernie" Philpott was a man who lived in Hill Valley in 1931. Eunice refers to him as Ernie. When the game cursor is placed over him, he's labeled as Hostile Guy.

Biography[]

Ernest had a girlfriend named Eunice, of whom he was very protective, often picking fights with anyone who so much as looked at her.

Marty first encountered Ernest in El Kid on August 25, 1931. Marty made eye-contact with Eunice, prompting a drunken Ernest to pick a fight. Ernest missed his target and was thrown out of the club by Cue Ball.

AlgaeCakeBox

Ernest Philpott's invention for the Science Expo

On October 12, he was standing at the entrance of Hill Valley High School, to make sure that no unauthorized individuals entered the Hill Valley Science Exposition. He told Citizen Brown to leave the DeLorean at the school's entrance thinking it was a future car exhibit. When Marty offered him an algae cake, he found its taste bad.

The next day, it was revealed that Ernest was the one who made the algae cakes when he was handing out free samples at the Hill Valley Expo. Upon recognizing Marty, he refused to give him a sample due to the incident at El Kid. He was the second person on the roster for a presentation (between Lev Grossman and the occupied Danny Parker).

Trivia[]

  • During his speech at the Expo, Ernest requests that you come and see him at his booth. More specifically, booth "A113". The number A113 is a running gag in Pixar films and has an Easter egg appearance in every one of them.
