Etta James (b. Jamesetta Hawkins January 25, 1938 in Los Angeles, California; d. January 20, 2012, in Riverside, California) was an American singer.

James performed the song "The Wallflower (Dance with Me, Henry)", which she also co-wrote, as heard on the soundtrack of Back to the Future.
