Germany was a country in Western Europe. It was the home of the Von Braun family before they moved to America. After World War I, the head of the Von Braun family changed his family's name to simply "Brown". Until World War I, Germany was located north of Switzerland and Austria-Hungary, east of France, and west of the Russian Empire.
