A buzzer with a channel to the mayoral office

"Hil Valley Courthouse. How may I help you, citizen?"
Edna Strickland, speaking from the mayoral office

A buzzer was a device through which one could contact someone who was otherwise unreachable, such as inside a secure building. Buzzers were present in an alternate 1986. They were similar to squawk boxes.

Appearance and function[]

Buzzers were bright blue and shaped like a rectangle. They had a single circular speaker in the center with a grey square below it and a single red button at its center. One particular buzzer was located by the Hill Valley courthouse. It connected directly to the mayoral office and any calls were received by the mayor's wife, Edna Strickland.
