The Mustang was a vehicle manufactured by Ford.

Scnet bttf2 0459 — In 2015, a hover- converted Mustang can be seen, parked outside the Holomax Theatre.

On October 21, 2015, Marty McFly saw a futuristic hover-converted red Mustang convertible land in Hill Valley's Courthouse Square and stop in front of the Holomax Theater.

The Mustang appeared to be a model from the late 1980s.^[1]

Actuality

Although the Ford automotive company is still manufacturing the Mustang to this day, as far as is known there are no plans to produce a flying model in the foreseeable future.
