Harold Lloyd (b. April 20, 1893 in Burchard, Nebraska; d. March 8, 1971 in Beverly Hills, California) was a silent film actor in the 1920s, who performed many of his own stunts.
Behind the scenes
- One of Lloyd's films, Safety Last (1923) was referenced during the pan of Doc's laboratory, as a clock is shown featuring Lloyd hanging from a clock tower. This foreshadows the events later in the film as Emmett Brown (played by another Lloyd, Christopher Lloyd) hangs onto the edge of the Hill Valley Courthouse's clock tower.
