Harold Lloyd (April 20, 1893 – March 8, 1971) was an silent film actor in the 1920s.
Behind the scenes
One of his films, Safety Last was referenced during the pan of Doc's laboratory as a clock is shown featuring Lloyd hanging from a clock tower. This foreshadows the events later in the film as Emmett Brown (played by another Lloyd, Christopher Lloyd) hangs onto the edge of the Hill Valley Courthouse's clock tower.
