Harold Lloyd (April 20, 1893March 8, 1971) was an silent film actor in the 1920s.

Behind the scenes

One of his films, Safety Last was referenced during the pan of Doc's laboratory as a clock is shown featuring Lloyd hanging from a clock tower. This foreshadows the events later in the film as Emmett Brown (played by another Lloyd, Christopher Lloyd) hangs onto the edge of the Hill Valley Courthouse's clock tower.
