History

The pie lady was serving pies when Marty and Dr. Emmett Brown arrived at the festival.

When Buford Tannen threatened Doc with a derringer, Marty used an empty pie plate from the lady's stand like a frisbee to deflect Buford's aim and cause the gun to go off harmlessly in the air, to the woman's disbelief.
