Located at 6817 Franklin Avenue in Hollywood, California, the church facilities have been seen in many films and television shows.[1] The Whoopi Goldberg film Sister Act was filmed almost entirely at the church. In the Tom Hanks film That Thing You Do!, the Oneders can be seen on the same stage where Marty McFly has performed with the Starlighters. Four years before the release of Back to the Future, the church was designated as an historic landmark by the City of Los Angeles. The church celebrated its centennial in 2009.
