Holofilms (short for holographic films) are a new technology seen in the year 2015, and are a highly advanced version of three-dimensional movies.
One of these was Jaws 19, which was being shown at the Holomax Theater in Hill Valley, where Marty McFly was 'swallowed' by a gigantic holographic image of the title character — which he thought still looked fake.
Actuality
- Although holofilms are not commonplace, the movie did accurately predict the popularity of 3-D movies in the 2010s, including 2015.
