Jayne Mansfield (born April 19, 1933) was briefly married to Biff Tannen in 1970 of the alternate timeline where an elderly Biff used the DeLorean time machine and the Grays Sports Almanac to make his younger self a millionaire, following his divorce from Marilyn Monroe in 1960.

Biography

Jayne divorced Biff in 1972 after she discovered a fallout shelter beneath Tannen Manor that was full of portraits and sculptures of Lorraine Baines McFly.

The following year, Biff secretly murdered Lorraine's husband, George McFly, then married Lorraine with the promise that he'd financially help her family. At the wedding, he proclaimed to the press "Third time's the charm!"

Behind the scenes

  • Jayne Mansfield and Marilyn Monroe aren't named in the comic books, but Biff's wives bear their likenesses, and the footage in the Biff Tannen Museum video in Back to the Future Part II further show their identities through actual photographs of the actresses altered to include Tom Wilson as Biff.
    • The photograph of Biff and Jayne was originally of Jayne Mansfield and her then boyfriend Nelson Sardelli in Dallas, Texas in May 1963.[1]
  • In reality, Jayne Mansfield died in a car accident on June 29, 1967. This means, ironically, that being married to Biff saved her life in this ABC timeline.
