John Wilkes Booth (born May 10, 1838, Bel Air, Maryland; died April 26, 1865, Caroline County, Virginia) was an American stage actor.

History[]

On April 14, 1865, Booth assassinated the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. By a strange coincidence, like Lee Harvey Oswald, who was charged with the assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, Booth himself ultimately ended up being assassinated two weeks later by Sergeant Boston Corbett.

In 1931, a photo of Booth was used in the mind map test for the Mental alignment meter. His assassination of Lincoln was meant to prompt a negative response from a Model Citizen.[1]
