A kill-switch breathalyzer was a piece of vehicular technology in 2015.

Judging by the name, it can be safely assumed that this was a combination futuristic safety mechanism and anti-drunk flying device, which could automatically shut down the engine, flying circuits etc. of a flying car if the pilot was under the influence of alcohol — thus preventing the dangerous act of drunk flying.

According to the Newsline column on the front page of the October 22, 2015 issue of USA Today, the organization Mothers Against Drunk Flying had hired a new lobbyist named Katie Pearson, who was to lead a campaign to install kill-switch breathalyzers in flying cars.[1]
