Michael Klastorin (April 20, 1957) was the unit publicist for Back to the Future Part II and Back to the Future Part III.
Behind the scenes[]
- Klastorin co-wrote along with his brother Mark Klastorin the screenplays of two episodes of Back to the Future: The Animated Series ("Roman Holiday" and "Verne Hatches an Egg"). He was the author of Back to the Future: The Official Book of the Complete Movie Trilogy (with Sally Hibbin) and Back to the Future: The Ultimate Visual History (with Randal Atamaniuk). He also authored Creating Back to the Future The Musical.
- Klastorin also appeared in Back to the Future Part III as 'Townsman #1' (as his billing on the closing credits reads), a resident of Hill Valley who says "Good morning, Mister Eastwood" (see picture), as well as playing a security guard in Back to the Future: The Ride.
- Klastorin himself became part of the BTTF universe when he wrote the USA Today front page news story, Hollywood to remake "A Match Made in Space", for the October 22, 2015 issue of USA Today.[1]
