Behind-the-scenes information

The Queen of Apocrypha ruled over the empire of Apocrypha in 2,991,299,129,912. She resided in a castle, presumably in Psuedonymia.

At some point, the Queen tasked Tannen the Barbarian with stealing the valuable ruby begonia from the enchanted tower. When Doc, Clara, Jules, Verne and Marty arrived in the far future with the malfunctioning Jules Verne Train, Tannen saw the train arrive, and followed them in the hope that they, as 'sorcerers', would be able to help him break into the enchanted tower. Clara, Jules and Verne were arrested by the Queen's royal guards, and Tannen claimed that they would become the Queen's slaves.

Once the ruby was found and delivered to the Queen, she honored her promise to reward Tannen with incredible riches, as well as his additional request that she free the three slaves she acquired earlier. However, as Clara had taught the queen how to crochet, their freedom had already been assured. The Queen allowed Jules to take one of the leaves of the ruby begonia's platinum setting — as long as she was able to keep the crochet needles. A few hours later, she and Tannen waved goodbye as the Browns and Marty departed in the repaired Jules Verne Train.
