Reese was one of two female police officers in Unit N11-11, the other being Foley.

Biography

Reese and Foley recovered Jennifer Parker in an alleyway on October 21, 2015. Assuming she was the Jennifer of the future, they flew her back home in their squad car to her future residence in Hilldale.

Reese and Foley wore peaked caps with an electronic readout affixed to the hatband, where the police badge would be normally.

Behind the scenes

It is likely that Reese was the daughter of Officer Reese, a police officer in the 1980s.
The names Reese and Foley have been generally used for police officers in scripts by Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis (see Foley for examples of these).
Reese was portrayed by Mary Ellen Trainor, who was uncredited on-screen. She was at the time the wife of Robert Zemeckis.
In the finished version of the movie, Reese's face is mostly obscured — either by having the peak of her cap almost covering her eyes or her features being kept in the dark.
