Sacramento is the capital city of California. It had access to Hill Valley by rail, road, or skyway.
In an 1931, it was home to the Sacramento Mob, a crime family operated by J. J. Valenti. They continued to live there in the 1986F timeline.
When arriving in 1986G Marty McFly's family expressed confusion at seeing him as he was suppose to be on a trip in Sacramento.
