- "He [Sam] pulled the pages from his briefcase. The folder showed a color head shot of Doc Brown along with a ten-page, single-spaced résumé of his past activities and habits, a map of his home and work area. Sam had received the folder a week before, when it appeared that Brown might not be as reliable as the organization hoped. Confirmation of Doc Brown's duplicity came that morning, followed by the decision to eliminate him."
- —From Back to the Future by George Gipe (quote, page 62)
Sam was the leader of the Libyan terrorist group, and had been an international terrorist for nearly thirty years.
Sam had received a coded message from his superior shortly after 3:00 p.m. on October 25, 1985 about Dr. Emmett Brown having ripped the organization off with a nuclear weapon consisting of used pinball machine parts instead of plutonium. He thus decided that Doc should be killed that same night, much to the delight of Uranda.
