- Clara Clayton rents two horses and a Wagon buckboard from Honest Joe Statler, while on her way a Snake spooks her horse, and they ride madly into Shonash Ravine.

- Emmett Brown instructed by Hubert picks up Clara Clayton and walks her over to the schoolhouse.
- Clara Clayton invites Emmett Brown to attend the Hill Valley Festival which she accepts.
Second Revised Timeline[]
- "Doc" Emmett Brown and Marty McFly retrieve the DeLorean time machine from the bear cave and attempt to pull it with horses to 88 mph, but are unsuccessful.
- Doc and Marty pour whiskey into the DeLorean's fuel tank, only to blow out the fuel manifold.
- Doc and Marty realize that a train will be able to push the DeLorean up to 88 mph and devise a plan.
- They investigate the incomplete Shonash Ravine bridge and notice a lady on an out-of-control wagon.
- Doc saves Clara Clayton from falling over the ravine.
- In the original timeline, Clara would have fallen in and the ravine would be renamed Clayton Ravine.
