Seymour Papert (born February 29, 1928, died July 31, 2016) was a South African-born American mathematician, computer scientist, and educator.

Together with Wally Feurzeig and Cynthia Solomon, he designed the Logo programming language in 1967.

George McFly owned a floppy disk containing the Logo language for his MSX clone, the Nemotech MPX 125, in an alternate 1986 that was run as a police state by First and Second Citizen Brown.
