This article covers a subject that has been deemed non-canon by either the author or the Back to the Future licensees, and thus should not be taken as a part of the "real" Back to the Future universe.

Silver City was a city located in New Mexico, United States around the 1880s. Clara Clayton lived here until her husband died, leading her to move to Hill Valley in 1888.^[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Silver City was Clara Clayton's hometown in the first draft screenplay of Back to the Future Part III. This has been rendered non-canon, however, as this wasn't mentioned in the finished version of the film, in addition that Clara doesn't mention where she was born.
