Star Wars is an American science fiction media franchise that started with the eponymous 1977 film which later became known as Episode IV: A New Hope. It has had a plenty of movies and spinoff shows, as well as exposure in other mediums like comics and video games.

The Book of Boba Fett[]

  • In episode "Chapter 3: The Streets of Mos Espa" when the Twi'lek majordomo tried to escape from the Mods gang he crashed his landspeeder into a meiloorun fruit truck which rained down directly into his speeder. It's a reference to the Back to the Future and Back to the Future Part II scenes when Biff Tannen during his pursuite of Marty McFly crushed his car into a manure truck which rained down directly into it.
  • In the same episode during the flasback scene Boba Fett and his tusken tribe tried to intercept the Pyke train. It's a reference to the Back to the Future Part III then Doc and Marty also tried to intercept the train.

  • When Marty McFly is trying to convince his father-to-be, George McFly, to ask his mother-to-be, Lorraine Baines, to go to the dance with him to stop Marty from not being born, Marty sneaks into his room with a radiation suit on and a hair dryer-cum-laser weapon, saying, "Silence Earthling. My name is Darth Vader. I'm an extra-terrestrial from the planet Vulcan." He also does both the Vulcan and Klingon salutes. The planet Vulcan and Klingon references, however, are references to Star Trek.
  • The next day, Marty and George meet up at the Texaco gas station and Marty asks George why he wasn't in school and George says, "Last night, Darth Vader came down from planet Vulcan. And he told me that if I didn't take Loraine, that he'd melt my brain."

TV series[]

Back to the Future: The Animated Series[]

  • In the episode, "My Pop's an Alien", Marty, Jules, and Verne travel to 1967 and use beekeeper suits to look like aliens to scare Biff Tannen to not cause alien hysteria in Hill Valley and get Doc blamed. At the end, Marty quotes "May the Force Be With You".
