A streetcar was a rail vehicle which ran along tracks embedded in roads.

Hill Valley had a streetcar line in 1931 which ran through Courthouse Square along Second Street.

On August 25, 1931, Arthur McFly used a streetcar to go to the Town Theater.

By 1944, the route had been altered and the line now ran along Main Street and Hill Street.

The line had been removed by 1955.
