I'm thinking of it as an alternate universe. Like how some characters in movies/shows have a little difference in their personality in an alternate life, but this has to do with baseball playing. Some people who've never seen Back to the Future (the entire trilogy) were bashing at it and said they'd never see it (on the night of October 21 on Twitter).
