BttF: The Game shows Emmiet inventing a flying vehicle. And the trusters on the dril look like the ones on the DeLorean. Think that maybe some of the principles behind the invention of flying cars and Goldie Wilson's hover conversion might have had some root in young Emmet's experiments? - Perhaps, but there's no substantial knowledge that the Wilson's picked up on this. Doc may have designed an unsuccessful flying vehicle, but it never took off with the public (no pun intended). It is true that the louvers on the drill match that of the DeLorean, so that is more likely to have carried over into the design of the time machine. -- Riffsyphon1024 09:19, March 1, 2011 (UTC)
Just in the interst of historical accuracy, by the 1980's Earl Scheib was painting cars for $99.95, NOT $39.99 as mentioned in the Hover conversion entry and here is proof.
A 1986 Earl Scheib commercial announcing the price of $99.95. This would have been a typical ad that would have been airing across the country at the time BTTF Part II was released where we saw Goldie Wilson, III's hover conversion advertisement. Joseph Burke (talk) 13:42, September 11, 2013 (UTC)
