- Perhaps, but there's no substantial knowledge that the Wilson's picked up on this. Doc may have designed an unsuccessful flying vehicle, but it never took off with the public (no pun intended). It is true that the louvers on the drill match that of the DeLorean, so that is more likely to have carried over into the design of the time machine. -- Riffsyphon1024 09:19, March 1, 2011 (UTC)
Just in the interst of historical accuracy, by the 1980's Earl Scheib was painting cars for $99.95, NOT $39.99 as mentioned in the Hover conversion entry and here is proof.
