Teddy Ruxpin was an animatronic talking bear that would read stories from an audio cassette player built into its back.

It was first released in 1985, and became the best selling toy of that year and the following year. Various companies had released the bear over the years. In 2005, the audio cassettes were replaced with digital cartridges.

In 2015, Emmett Brown went into the Blast from the Past antique/memorabilia store to try to find out the value of the items that he owned in 1985. While there, he saw a Teddy Ruxpin toy.
