Thomas A. Watson (January 18, 1854 - December 13, 1934) was an electrical designer, mechanic, and inventor. As the assistant to the scientist Alexander Graham Bell, he helped with the invention of the telephone.

In 1986, Dr. Emmett Brown told Marty McFly that he was the Thomas A. Watson to his Alexander Graham Bell, and that he wouldn't be the person he was without him.
