1985
- Sunday, October 27:
  - Emmett Brown arrives from March 5, 1986 in the second DeLorean time machine in order to pick up his dog, Einstein.
  - Doc and Einstein depart for August 14, 1893. This creates Timeline 18, which begins at Doc and Einstein's entry point in 1893 and timeline 17 fades away.
