Vannevar Bush (March 11, 1890–June 28, 1974) was the director of the Office of Scientific Research and Development, which oversaw the development of the atomic bomb through the Manhattan Project alongside the United States Army, with the support of the United Kingdom and Canada.
Biography[]
In 1943, Bush and Major General Leslie Groves interviewed Dr. Emmett Brown for a position with the Manhattan Project. Despite a disastrous interview, Doc was awarded the position.
