"Vaya con Dios" was a Spanish farewell phrase, which in English means "Go with God"; and can also mean "Goodbye" in addition to "Adios".

History

Dr. Emmett Brown shouted this phrase to Marty McFly, after wishing him "Happy Trails", on November 16, 1955, when Marty started driving the DeLorean time machine at speed towards the movie screen at the Pohatchee Drive-In Theater to travel back to 1885.
