Verde Junction was a location along the railroad tracks outside Hill Valley in 1885.
According to a train engineer Marty McFly and Dr. Emmett Brown spoke to, a "fearless" engineer named Frank Fargo was known to get a locomotive up to near 70 m.p.h. out past Verde Junction.
