Publisher's summary[]

Light it up with this special 30th anniversary edition of YAHTZEE: Back to the Future Collector's Edition. This unique YAHTZEE game features a light-up version of the famous Flux Capacitor from the ever popular Back to the Future movie.

Gameplay[]

The goal of Yahtzee is to score points by shaking a cup and emptying it to roll five dice to make certain combinations. The dice can be rolled up to three times in a turn to try to make various scoring combinations. A game consists of thirteen rounds. After each round the player chooses which scoring category is to be used for that round. Once a category has been used in the game, it cannot be used again. The scoring categories have varying point values, some of which are fixed values and others where the score depends on the value of the dice. A Yahtzee is five-of-a-kind and scores 50 points; the highest of any category. The winner is the player who scores the most points.

The Yahtzee: Back to the Future Collector's Edition, contains a replica flux capacitor which uses batteries allowing it to light up. This flux capacitor can be used as the dice cup, although it is not necessary. The dice themselves are yellow and contain the hazard symbol found on Doc Brown's stolen box of plutonium.
